Literacy Prompt
The students read ground breaking US Supreme Court case decisions. They answered Level 1 and Level 2 questions, prepared a class presentation, and assembled a note-taking sheet for their peers to complete while they presented their case to the class.
Today, we ran class presentations.
Why should a citizen understand the foundations of American government?
The students completed a DBQ revision on their first draft, and then they transitioned to group work to help each other determine how to best respond/support the DBQ prompt.
