Social Studies--> Was the American Revolution inevitable?
After completing Cornell notes, the students continued working on a persuasive political cartoon that compared two different POVs of the Tea Act/Boston Tea Party (analogy with optional use of irony).
How did colonists’ perspectives of colonial laws and taxes issued during the pre-Revolutionary Period differ from the perspective of the British?
The students also completed a review of the gothic perspective, N. Hawthorne, and the puritans to help support their understanding of the short story "The Minister's Black Veil".
