Social Studies

The students continued to read, take notes and review how to interpret primary sources (group work table rotations). The students will use the practice to help support their next on-demand DBQ. After completing the last rotation, the students completed their post-work chart on the Trail of Tears. The students also watched a short video on the Trail of Tears produced by the US Department of Interior.

The students read an article and took notes on how Texas gained independence from Mexico and how this movement west influenced the Mexican American War.
